Bend in the road

After being off work for over a week during the holidays, heading to work last Wednesday morning was nothing short of brutal.

Until I came to the bend in the road.


I'm pretty sure I audibly gasped when I made the turn and saw this more-than-amazing sight.


These pictures are pretty, but don't come close to the real time view I experienced.

Definitely a bright spot (pun intended)
on my first day back to work.

  1. I know exactly the day you were talking about, I saw that sunrise as well it was beautiful...I didn't have my camera, I'm glad you did, so pretty!

    Beautiful. I can see a cross formed by the rising sun especially noticeable in the first picture. I can see why it would cause one to gasp. Breathtaking. God's amazing glory revealed all around us if we open our eyes. Thank you for sharing.
